【ハーグ】現役ＡＳＰ議長が母国外相に就任（2006.05.09）

国際刑事裁判所ＡＳＰ議長、母国コスタリカの外務大臣に就任

国際刑事裁判所の締約国会議＝ＡＳＰ（解説）の現議長を務めるコスタリカのブルーノ・ウガルテ氏は2006年5月8日、母国コスタリカの外務大臣に就任した。ウガルテ氏は2002年以降、コスタリカ国連代表部常任代表も勤めてきており、2004年にはＡＳＰにより2005年から2008年までの3年間の任期で議長に選任された。同氏は外務大臣という新しい職務と同時に、ＡＳＰ議長の任も負うことになる。

The President of the Assembly of State Parties becomes Minister of Foreign Affairs of Costa Rica

On 8 May 2006 the President of the Assembly of States Parties (ASP), Mr. Bruno Stagno Ugarte, assumed his post as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Costa Rica. 

Mr. Stagno Ugarte had been serving as Permanent Representative of Costa Rica to the United Nations in New York since 2002. 

On 9 September 2004 the ASP elected Mr. Stagno Ugarte as its President for the fourth to sixth sessions (2005-2008). He will continue in that capacity concurrently with his new functions.
